"Prayer Changes Things." We've heard it before. We will hear it again. We will hear it and love it and live it forever, because it is true. All too often though, we tend to forget that our blessings come from God and not from our own hands. Of course, prayer without work is nothing, but our blessings ultimately are ordained by The Lord. I know that and many of you know that, but I've realized that I don't take enough time out of my day anymore to just pray and to be one with God.
I have been so wrapped up lately in my life that I have fallen short of things that truly matter. I haven't been reaching out to my friends and family, just to check in. I haven't been working diligently on my craft. I haven't been dedicating my all to my job. I've just kind of been alive. Although nothing is wrong with living in its most natural essence, it is important to keep in mind that existing isn't really living if you're numb or blind to the things that are happening in and around your life. It is time for me to start praying for favor. I need God's favor to reign over my life, over love, over choices, over opportunity, over the way I use God's light to shine for others, etc. I understand that I was chosen to do really unique, spiritually kindred and loving things in this life of mine, but without favor, I am wasting my gift and my ability to make effective differences and changes. Until I am ready to live and embrace what God has set up in my life, things will remain stagnant. Things will not blossom or bloom when I am ready. Things will not grow at the pace that I want them to. I know that is okay. God has provided me with a vision and a provision, but it is time to get back in the game. Pray to be used and guided. Pray to keep amazing people in your corner. Pray to be anointed and a blessing to others. Pray for love for yourself and your life. Pray for goodness and a humble mentality. Pray for strength and power. Pray for the ability to be soft. Pray for positivity over your circumstances. Pray for joy. Pray for peace and understanding. Pray for life. Pray for favor over your blessings. It'll all work out. It's been a while, but I'm better now. I've missed you too. Nee!
