Courtney Saunders - Passionate Woman

You know that one person in your life (besides you) that works too hard and doesn't know how to sit down? Do you know the girl that spends so much time trying to encourage others and lift them up that sometimes she spreads herself too thin and forgets to be there for herself? Well I know her, and her name is Courtney. Courtney is diligent, radiant, joyous and overall supportive. Everybody needs a friend like Courtney, and not only because she'll be there for us when we are up, but because she's willing to go to bat for us when we are down. Courtney is a phenomenal woman; a passionate woman. Spotlight, On!

I met Courtney a couple of months back at a blogging event... my very first actually. At the time, I had probably posted my first ten posts, and they were all recaps from my day to day life in Haiti. That wasn't bad, but I really had no idea what I was doing with a blog. We spoke after the event and she was so open and seemed extremely happy to be where she was. Courtney seemed older than just 24 at the time, but I liked her vibe. Not only did she have a lot of positive light to shed on blogging and networking, but she gave me the scoop on Brunching in Atlanta. If that isn't  a thing, it should be. (Courtney, write a blog post about brunching in Atlanta. That's gold).

Anyways, we hit it off after that and we got pretty close. Titziana and I aren't the world's most receptive in regards to letting people into our very US-centered, Best Friend domain, but she received Courtney the same way I did. You know, Virgos KNOW when something ain't right. Whatever though...

All of this is to say that Courtney is a pleasure to be around. She's the life of the party! She talks just as much as I do. Her smile is contagious and she goes out of her way to love and support those around her without asking for anything in return. She's relentless and selfless.

I'm glad I got the chance to experience a friend like Courtney. She takes passion and drive to a new level and she's not just fun to hang out with on a Friday night, but she sends me motivational podcasts during the week, motivates me to read more (RSVP for this month's Passionate Woman Book Club Meeting) and encourages me to wake up and go to church on Sunday mornings. I've always said that anybody who loves me like they claim they do, will pray for me! Courtney doesn't just pray for me, but she prays with me and I am confident that everybody on our team is blessed, highly favored and on their way to success.
