What is your favorite work of art? What do you love about it?
A 12 hour trek up three mountains and thru three rivers to reach a small school building that services 120 the most beautiful children, coming from nothing to receive an education from seven of the most diligent people that I have met. It was empowering and inspiring to feel so small amidst the mountains that were so large and so captivating. Hopefully, my painting does for somebody else what Bouvier did for me. The Saving Mountains currently hang at my grandparents' house. I presented it to my Poppy last year as a gift. I love this painting because it reminds me to remain humble, to stay calm and to take my time. They say "Rome wasn't built in a day." That applies to all aspects of my life. Keep the faith and allow God to order my steps the way He did in the mountains. I thought I was going to die and God renewed my heart and my spirit. Thanks for reading,
Nee
