Life's Little Pleasures

Top Ways to Save

Hey everybody!

Super fun facts to bring you all today! I recently got to co-host on a Youtube series called "How to Build Your Credit TV!" ... Okay, I barged in and made myself present on the live stream, but nonetheless, I was the co-host!

Since we're speaking about the topic of credit, I want you to first, check out the livestream and listen to some valuable information regarding YOUR FINANCIAL FUTURE! Then, check out some really cool apps that I've been using to not only save, but MAKE REAL MONEY! I don't usually rave about apps, but when they're working for me, I get excited. There's absolutely no reason that you can't do it too. Free money is good money... the legal way lol.

Nee's top Pick APPs
for money making and Saving

1. DROP

I LOVE Drop! You earn points for signing up for different subscriptions to every day things that we all use anyways. I use Drop to shop at online stores for my clothes and makeup so that I rack up my points for dollars spent. I received 30,000 points (equivalent to $30 in gift cards) for signing up for a new Just Fab account. Your first pair of shoes with Just Fab is only $9.99, so it was a win both ways. Your points accumulate and you can save up for big rewards like a $100 American Airlines gift card, or treat yourself to smaller rewards like $25 to The Cheesecake Factory. It's all on you! Plus, you receive a $5 referral bonus for the first couple of friends you refer.

You can also receive that bonus for signing up for Drop with my referral code: areneecb

I used Drop gift cards to purchase a flight to Cuba with American Airlines. I also use Drop gift cards to purchase all of my art products off of Amazon.
2. EBATES

As if shopping wasn't already fun, nothing is more fulfilling than completing your order, knowing that new things are on the way and THEN getting the notification that cash back has been posted to your account. Ebates literally gives you a percentage of the money you spent back, just for activating the Ebates link while you're purchasing from your favorite stores. I don't intentionally spend money to get the cash back, but if it's available at an online store that I'm viewing, the Ebates button will light up and ask me if I WANT to activate the cash back feature. Hello, OF COURSE I do! My Ebates money hits my Paypal account every couple of months. Random direct deposits are always a win! You can also select to have a check mailed to your home if you prefer.

I used Ebates to purchase the LA City Go Pass from Groupon and received 6% cash back on my purchase.
3. DOSH

While I'll admit that it takes me a little longer to make money with Dosh on every day cash back deals, I've made the most money of all using Dosh, particularly because of their referral bonuses. Dosh offers referral bonuses from $5- $15 for referring friends that download the app, make a free account, and link a credit card to the account. That's it! You need to have at least $20 in your account to redeem the money via Paypal or deposit into your bank account, but that can happen quickly with bonuses. It took me about 3 days to rack up $200 that was directly deposited into my account. I keep my cards linked to automatically rack up cash back from percentage purchases.

4. IBOTTA

Hey now! Ibotta is a little bit of work, but worth it. You go through the app and activate offers that you think you'll use or would like to use. Then, you shop and afterwards, scan your receipt into the app. Based on your selected / activated offers, cash back is sent to your account. You can receive monthly bonuses based on how many offers you use and also for team progress using the app. Your team is based on referrals (always refer for extra cash)! When you reach $20, you can redeem your cash, so I always try to keep a little in the account so I'm never too far off.

I ordered sneakers from Finish Line to bring to Haiti through Ibotta and got $17.00 cash back on my purchase.
5. QAPITAL

Ziaa put me on to Qapital about six weeks ago, and since then, I've saved over $115 without even trying! Qapital is a savings app which links to your bank account. You can save for any and everything, just by creating goals and rules to reach those goals. For my first goal, I set $2.00 round up rules for my first $50. If I use my debit or credit card linked to my account to make a purchase, the purchase rounds up to the nearest $2.00. If I spend $1.04, $0.96 is transferred to my Qapital goal. It's simple, like keeping the change... except I don't typically carry cash so it's hard to keep the change. Qapital works and makes it easy for me to save! The app is free to use, but eventually will charge $3 a month to use the basic features. To me, $3 is worth the $100 in a private account.

When you use my referral link and complete your first deposit towards a goal, Qapital will gift you $20 for being dedicated to saving!

I use Qapital to save towards random needs. You never know when you might need a little something extra.
6. CHIME

I recently got hip to Chime as well. It has saving features like Qapital does, but I use it for normal banking. Chime is an online bank with dope features like two day advance direct deposit. It links to my debit account so I can transfer funds when I need to. Chime offers personalized partner offerings that can help with spending habits. You want to know my favorite part about Chime? 7. CREDIT CARD PERKS

I usually sign up for credit cards and accounts based on their opening account offers. I rack up on flight miles, cash back, rewards and free food. You should do the same. With my current credit card accounts and offers, I oftentimes travel for free, but we will get to free round trip flights in a later post!
Happy Spending!
Happy Saving!
Happy Money Making!

Be Blessed,
Née
